Phil Collins Finally Rolls Out North American Dates

Music News

As expected, Phil Collins has announced the North American leg of his Not Dead Yet tour. A year after playing his first European comeback shows, Collins has rolled out his U.S. and Canadian stops on the trek, which kicks off on October 5th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and runs through October 28th in Los Angeles at The Forum. Along the way, Collins and his band will make arena stops in Washington, DC; Philadelphia; Boston; Toronto; Newark; Brooklyn; Montreal; Cleveland; Columbus; Minneapolis; Chicago; Oakland; and Las Vegas. The upcoming shows mark Collins’ first North American concerts in 12 years.

Phil Collins admited to us that he’s well aware that his career ultimately suffered from overexposure: “Because I was, y’know, pretty much never away in the ’80s and some of the ’90s, y’know, people start with, ‘How can I miss you if you don’t go away?’ And now I’ve gone away, people can maybe listen to it with fresher ears, rather than, ‘Oh God, another Phil Collins record.'”
