A man from Lyons was arrested Tuesday evening by State Police in connection with a burglary reported July 25 in the Town of Preble.

Matthew Stanley, 19, is the third person to be charged with the break-in and thefts from the Mountain View Resort.

State Police say $1,000 of top-shelf liquor was taken, but the thieves were unsuccessful trying to break into an ATM and a Lottery machine.

Emmanuel Camarillo, of Red Creek, and an unnamed minor were arrested earlier.

The lengthy investigation led troopers to Stanley, who was already in the Onondaga County Correctional Facility.

He was charged with felony Burglary and Criminal Mischief and Endangering the Welfare of a Child and returned to Syracuse.

Police believe the suspects could be involved in another burglary in Onondaga County.

Tpr. Aga Dembinska, State Police Public Information Officer based at Troop C headquarters in Sidney, said it took a lot of police time to prepare for the arrests. She credits the investigative work of the team at the Homer State Police barracks.
