Neuman specializes in planning and transactions with extensive experience in agriculture, small business and not-for-profits. A lifelong Cortland county resident, Neumann sees the opportunities and challenges in Upstate New York’s business sector and how they can benefit Cortland Regional.
Adam Miller, M.D.
For more than three years, Dr. Adam Miller has been an ophthalmologist with Cortland Regional Medical Practice. Miller says he hopes to be an advocate for continued excellence in the delivery of patient care. Originally from Rome, NY, Dr. Miller says he enjoys the feel of a small community where the care he provides makes a difference.
Nasrin Parvisi, CRP, MArch
Nasrin Parvizi has been a member of the SUNY Cortland family for nearly 20 years, most recently as its Associate V.P of Facilities Management. An architect by trade, Parvizi says her years in higher education and facilities management have taught her the many facets of what it takes to build and support a healthy community – commitment, sustainability, safety, environmental health and emergency preparedness. As Parvisi looks to retirement, she is ready to participate more in community service, and feels her expertise is well suited to being a meaningful contributor to CRMC.
Nathaniel Wayman, Director of Manufacturing Engineering, BorgWarner
Nathaniel Wayman is Director of Manufacturing Engineering for BorgWarner Morse Systems. The Michigan native has had an extensive career in the automobile industry, and he and his family have called the Cortland area home since 2007. He is an active member and former board member of the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce, as well as a current member of the McGraw Central School Board of Education. Wayman sees his new role as a way to bring an outside business perspective to the hospital while assisting with the strategic direction to ensure its long-term viability and success.
Kathleen Fitzgerald, DNP-FNP, MSN
Kathleen Fitzgerald is an Assistant Professor at the Decker School of Nursing (DSON) at Binghamton University. A Cortland native, her role supports the education of future nurses with a focus on rural health and under-served communities. She is also involved in the Binghamton University Initiative for the DSON and Health Sciences committee.
Cortland Regional and the Board would also like to recognize and thank Dr. Anna Marie Garcia, Leo McGrattan, and William Pomeroy for their completion of their board terms and their distinguished service to the medical center.
