From Cortland Police: Fugitive Sought, Two Other Arrests Reported

Police say Chance Homa, 22, of Mohawk had an argument with someone who lived at 9 Prospect Street, and that a couple of months ago, he tossed a log through a $400 window.

On Wednesday, Cortland Police charged him with felony Criminal Mischief.

He was released until court on December 22.

Someone saw something and said something because they were concerned a man at the River Street laudromat was on something.

Police report that James Bobik, 41, of Cortland was at the laundromat at around 10:30 am Wednesday.

Lt. Rick Troyer tells us Bobik had more than 8-ounces of marijuana, along with heroin and suboxone.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.

He’s in the county jail waiting for court next month.

This week’s Wanted Wednesday fugitive from Cortland Police is Abby Alexander, 27, who police say is considered homeless.

Last they knew, she lived in Cincinnatus.

She is wanted on a Cortland City Court warrant for failing to appear in October, and on another warrant from Cortlandville, for violating probation.

Police say she’s been seen recently in Cortland.
