The City’s APPLICATION included many great projects, but additional ideas will be accepted through November 30, 2017.
DRI Strategic Investment Plans are expected to include an extensive list of projects that may be implemented with a variety of public and private resources, including but not limited to the DRI allocation. Recommended projects may range in cost and scale from small improvements to large-scale construction projects, from local programs and zoning updates to major infrastructure projects. The following types of projects are anticipated:
- New Development and Rehabilitation of Existing Structures
- Revolving Loan and Grant Funds
- Branding and Marketing

Projects submitted with complete information will be presented to the community on December 14 at an open house meeting. This will allow the community to see the full range of projects that have been contemplated over the past two years of the DRI application process as well as new ideas submitted following the grant award.
Following the December Public Meeting, the Local Planning Committee will work with a team of state and consultant planners to advance projects. Ultimately the projects will be ranked and prioritized and those that rise to the top will be presented to NYS for funding.
If you have a project to recommend, please fill out a project form and submit it along with plans, renderings, and financial data by November 30 to the Mayor’s office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
