Greek Peak Invests $800,000 In Ski Area Improvements

“Definitely looking forward to a much better ski season than we’ve had in the last two,” was the summation by Greek Peak President Wes Kryger.

Kryger says this season at Greek Peak brings new trails and improved snowmaking.

“We’ve purchased some high-efficiency guns that will be put in on Karyatis Way,” said Kryger. “The effort is to get more trails open quicker at the start of the season.”

For those who want to learn to ski, there is new rental equipment and a new ski school program to get you skiing sooner.

Kryger says he still enjoys when he gets to start his day with a few runs.


Greek Peak hosts Hops and Swaps Saturday, 12:30 to 4.

Plenty to eat and drink, and lots of live music and look for the kids’ zone.

There will be chairlift rides, the mountain bike park will be open and skiers can take advantage of the lowest prices on season passes.More than a million dollars of new and used ski products in the swap this year.
