Perhaps you can help officers from the Homer Police Department investigating a hit and run accident on Thursday morning just before 8.
Police say that a driver headed north on North Main Street tried to go around another driver turning left near Warren Street – but didn’t squeeze through and hit the turning vehicle.
Police are trying to find the driver of what witnesses described as a small four-door, dark-colored, possibly blue vehicle, likely with damage to the left front side and door.
The driver was described as a white man with dark hair.
Police say that driver turned onto Hooker Ave and then north on 281 going very fast and passing vehicles to get away.
