Two people inside the vehicle had gotten into an accident that left the vehicle with what deputies described as “substantial.” The pair refused medical attention.

Cortland County Sheriff’s Lt. Todd Caufield identified the two as Trey Roberts, 18, from Marietta and Thomas Walsh, 18, from Otisco.

Both were charged with Grand Larceny and Conspiracy, arraigned in Town of Taylor Court and released to Alternatives To Incarceration (ATI). They are to return to the Town of Cincinnatus Court on September 20, 2017.

The vehicle was impounded by the Cortland County Sheriff’s office and Lt. Caufield says it will be returned to its owner.
