Police say he went to the east side Cortland home of a 24-year old woman he’s supposed to stay away from.
Daniel was released from custody until his next court date in a month.
Someone called Cortland Police during the noon hour Thursday, reportedly seeing someone “suspicious” on West Main Street.
When officers got there, the guy took off.
Police caught up to Jeremy Schmutzler, 17, of Locke, hiding in a garage on Summit Street.
Schmutzler was charged with Criminal Trespass and Obstruction of Governmental Administration and released until his next scheduled court appearance on September 20.
