Cortland Police Arrests, Weekly Warrant Fugitive

At about 5:15 Thursday morning, Todd Linn, 31, of Cortland, was arrested for Obstruction of Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest.

A Cortland Police officer saw Linn at the Express Mart on Tompkins Street and tried to arrest him on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Cortlandville Town Court.

The officer says Linn went into the bathroom and came out fighting.

Police expected Linn to be arraigned later in the day.


David Donovan, 37, and Heather Macleod, 35, both of Cortland, were arrested Wednesday morning and charged with Harassment and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Police say they started fighting while Donovan was holding their two-year-old.

Officers report no one was injured. The child was turned over to other family.

Donovan and Macleod are due back in court August 30.


Dillon Campbell, 22, of Cortland, was arrested Wednesday night just before 11 pm for Harassment, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Mischief.

Police say he punched a 25-year-old woman in front of her three-year-old and seven-year-old girls.

Campbell is also accused of damaging the cell phone the woman was trying to use to call the police.

Lt Rick Troyer says Campbell was to be arraigned Thursday in city court.

Trisha Race is 34, and her last known address was in Taylor.

She is the Cortland Police Department Wanted Wednesday Fugitive this week, sought on a Cortland County Family Court probation violation warrant from June 30.
