Among City Arrests: Teen Charged With Damaging A Home

Cortland Police report the arrest of Donavin Fink Jr., 17, of Cortland, on Thursday morning.

Fink is charged with felony Criminal Mischief from an incident on May 23 at about 3:30 AM.

Police say Fink caused more than $6,000 in damages to a home on Reynolds Avenue by throwing cinder block bricks at the residence, damaging historical glass windows, a pole light, and a large antique garage light fixture.

Fink was released to appear in City Court on July 29.


Lee Armstrong, 37, of Cortland, was arrested Wednesday night at 11 on charges of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

Cortland Police say Armstrong fought with a 31-year-old man on Main Street and choked him.


Briana Coville, 32, of Homer, and Michael Edwards, 52, of Cortland, both were arrested by Cortland Police at 7:15 pm on Thursday.

Police charged both with Harassment and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Officers say they argued at a residence on Groton Avenue and they punched each other in front of a three-year-old girl.

Police add the two were released to appear on August 9 in City Court.
