Stolen iPad Recovered, Man Breaks Car Window On Main Street

Local News

Cortland Police say they arrested a man with a stolen iPad Saturday morning at a home on Owego Street.

Robert Johnson, 19, is charged with possession of stolen property to answer in Court June 9.

Police did not provide any additional information on how they suspected Johnson possibly had the stolen device.

Matthew Perry is in trouble with Cortland Police.

The 28-year old was arrested Sunday night at about 8 on assault and criminal mischief charges.

Cortland Police say he got into an argument with a woman on Main Street.

She was in a vehicle, and Perry is accused of striking a window on that vehicle, breaking it, and cutting the woman with broken glass.

Police say she didn’t need hospital treatment.

Perry was sent to jail awaiting bail and a court appearance Tuesday.
