The Tompkins County Sheriff’s office has released information about an argument and fight last Thursday between neighbors on Bills Way in the Town of Dryden.
Deputies say, Tori Monroe, who is 37, shot her neighbor in the head with a BB gun at close range.
More fighting followed, with police reporting that Monroe’s children threatened the neighbor woman with knives.
Her injuries were not life-threatening, according to Tompkins County police.
Monroe was charged with assault, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of the two children.
The children were charged with weapons possession and sent to Tompkins County Family Court.
Monroe was released until her return to court.
