Crop Weather Report: Greening A Lot Earlier This Year

The latest crop weather report from the USDA statistics office shows many producers got into the fields once the ground dried, but rain has interrupted that progress.

Jennifer Doty is the reporter for Cortland County and says new seedlings are going in.

Around the state, some drought conditions were reported and temperatures averaged above normal.

Hay crops (and probably our lawns) are greening a lot earlier than last year.
