Dryden Library Receives Grant For Teen Reading/Discussion Program

Local News

Dryden’s Southworth Library Association received a National Endowment for the Humanities grant from the American Library Association, one of only 75 awarded in the country.

The library will host a reading and discussion program for at-risk youth focusing on teen violence and suicide.

About a dozen teens from the William George Agency will read and discuss books with themes of violence or suicide.

The teens will keep copies of the books.

Sessions begin March 27.
