Transparency The Goal At State Board Of Regents

Local News

One of the changes in state law this month is aimed at making State Board of Regents meetings more open to the public.

As of December 8, the Board now has to give seven days notice of the time, place, and agenda of all public meetings of the Board and any committee, subcommittee, task force or other subgroup.

The idea is to provide enough time for stakeholders to respond and discuss the issues and encourage more involvement from the public.
