
Colin Toland Reporting For Duty!

The Ithaca Police made a dream come true for Colin Toland, 9, Monday.
Colin was sworn in as an Ithaca Police Officer by Chief John Barber.
The ceremony was at Stewart Park on the south end of Cayuga Lake.
Ithaca Police estimated that 150 officers from area departments attended as a show of support, and 300 other people were part of the crowd.
There were many poignant moments, including when Colin rode shotgun with his Chief between lines fellow officers saluting as they passed.
