Divers Recover Body Of Man From McGraw From Cayuga Lake
Local News August 23, 2016Late Sunday night, members of the New York State Police Dive Team recovered the body of a man from McGraw who apparently drowned in Cayuga Lake, north of Myers Park in Lansing.
Timothy Butler, 58, was boating with his family Saturday afternoon and jumped in to help a woman swimming near the boat.

She made it to the boat, but Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies report that he did not.
Butler’s body was found in about 60-feet of water at 11:30 Sunday night, according to police.
