For 65 years Brockway built the some of the best heavy-duty trucks right here in Cortland.
This is the weekend Cortland celebrates that brand here in Husky Town, USA.
There could be 125 trucks in Saturday morning’s parade, according to Jim Price of the Brockway Truck Preservation Association.
The parade begins at 8:30 am and the trucks will be on display on Main Street in Cortland until about 3 pm.
Other trucks join in the revival of an all-brand show at the CNY Living History Center on Homer Avenue on Sunday.
Jim Price talked about the Brockway weekend on Meet Cortland County, and you can hear it On Demand at WXHC.com.
The Cortland Beer Company is in a Brockway mood, selling a limited edition “Brockway Brown” can beginning at 10:30 am Saturday at its 16 Court Street brewery.
