Sleeping In Sporting Goods Leads To Drug Arrest

Local News

On Tuesday, Kmart employees in the sporting goods department could not wake up a customer, who’d been sleeping for three hours.

Police were called, and agreed, this guy must be on something, so he was taken to Cortland Regional Medical Center.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Department reports the deputy did find suboxone on Robert Stephens, 31, of River Street in Cortland.

Stephens was ticketed for the controlled substance and released to appear in Cortlandville court next month.
