Council To Consider Bathhouse Plan, New Main St. Cameras

Local News

We may see an upgrade to the bathhouse at Wickwire Pool.

Cortland City Council will consider a resolution to apply for a half-million dollars in funding from the state Environmental Protection Fund at its meeting Tuesday night.

The plan to add 15 more security cameras on Main Street is back.

Deputy Chief Paul Sandy told Council he could make some choices and come up with $50,000 for the extra “eyes” between William and Orchard Streets.

Half of the cameras would go up this fall and the rest next spring.

Sandy says building owners and merchants are cooperating.

The cameras are another issue coming before Cortland City Council Tuesday night.
