GOP Hopeful Gov. John Kasich Vows To Reunite Pink Floyd If Elected

Music News

Ohio governor and GOP Presidential hopeful John Kasich, pledges to reunite the surviving members of Pink Floyd if elected president. During a chat with CNN while on the campaign trail, he gushed over how impressed he was with Roger Waters’ recent solo performance of the band’s 1979 opus The Wall and made a promise to the band’s fans, after being asked about his favorite live event: “Pink Floyd’s The Wall. And Roger Waters is, y’know, is a remarkable artist and I saw The Wall in Pittsburgh — it was absolutely incredible. I don’t even have to think twice. It was the best. And if I am president, I will once and for all try to reunite Pink Floyd to come and play a couple songs. And since we have so much trouble in America with our finances, I’m going to start with a little song they created, called ‘Money.'”
