Two Homer Residents Facing Charges For Kinney Drugs Thefts

Two Homer residents are facing misdemeanor charges after stealing items from the Kinney Drug Store on Rt. 281 in Cortlandville.

Last Wednesday, Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the store lifting complaint.

Police say 23-year-old Nathaniel D. Schumacher and 26-year-old Jade Lansdowne, both of Homer, are accused of stealing Slim Jims, Combo’s pretzels, and air fresheners from the store. Police say the value of the items was $10.77. Both were charged with petit larceny and conspiracy.

Schumacher, who has previous convictions was sent to the County Jail on $1,500 cash bail/$3,000 bond. Lansdowne was released on her own recognizance.
