Two Employees of Homer Business Charged With Credit Card Theft

Cortland County Sheriff’s Investigators say two former employees of the Fleetwash Mobile Pressure Washing Company in Homer were arrested Thursday.

They’re accused making $5 thousand dollars in unauthorized credit card purchases.

Investigators say 35-year-old Nathan Sloughter of 6166 Cold Brook Road, Homer and 29-year-old Alex Grosshans of 5288 1/2 Maybury Road, McGraw have been charged with a felony count of criminal possession of stolen property, along with misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and conspiracy.

Sloughter and Grosshans are both being accused of using a company credit card to make unauthorized purchases in multiple locations throughout the Cortland County over a four month period.

Both men were arraigned in the Town of Homer Court.

Sloughter was released on his own recognizance.

Grosshans was sent to the county jail on $1000 cash $2000 bond.

Both men are due back in Homer Court on January 19. Additional charges are pending.
