SUNY Cortland Campus Police are investigating a rape that occurred on campus over the weekend.
Police say a Cortland student was raped Saturday morning in a residence hall on campus.
Campus Police say the victim knew the alleged attacker. They have not released any other details at this time.
This is the second reported sexual assault on campus this month.
Back on November 5th, a student reported being forcibly touched in the early morning hours of Halloween. The victim in this case also knew the alleged attacker.
Campus police are still investigating both incidents. In September, a TC3 student, 20-year-old Nicholas Vicioso, was charged with rape after having sexual contact with a woman outside a property on Tompkins Street.
Anyone who has been sexually assaulted on campus or has information on the event should call the University Police Department at 607-753-2112.
