The Cortland County Health Department today advised the community of an additional COVID-19 case, bringing the total confirmed to eight;
Additionally, health officials are monitoring 55 individuals in quarantine, although none are hospitalized.
The Health Department does not have the ability to test for COVID-19, which is done through local health care providers.
Anyone experiencing coronavirus symptoms should call their doctor immediately, who will then coordinate any necessary testing.
