5G cell service already impacting airports

The Federal Aviation Administration has banned low visibility landings at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. The reason being 5G cell service. Airline executives have warned government officials about the potential harm 5G could cause for airlines. 


Syracuse is one of 90 commercial airports losing low visibility landing capabilities according to the Airports Council International-North America. 

AT&T and Verizon have both agreed to delay the implementation of 5G within a 3-mile radius of runways to prevent interference.
