Dryden Planning Board Seeking Public Input On Sustainability Proposals

Local News

The Town of Dryden’s Planning Board will soon hold a public meeting seeking input on proposed additions to address building sustainability in the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.

At the meeting, the Board’s Building Energy Subcommittee will present the sustainability proposals and allow time for questions and comments.

The subcommittee’s work has focused on adding language to the Comprehensive Plan that describes the Town’s intent to address climate change by taking actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in buildings throughout the Town.

That meeting is set for Thursday, March 7, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Dryden Town Hall courtroom, 93 East Main Street in Dryden.

The public is invited to attend and give feedback.
