40th Annual Business Showcase is Free to Attend Thanks to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center

The Cortland Area Chamber of Commerce is crediting their sponsors for supporting this year’s Business Showcase, its 40th, for another year of free entry for patrons on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the JM McDonald Sports Complex.

The Chamber says Guthrie Cortland Medical Center has once again made a generous sponsorship for free admission to the Showcase for everyone interested in attending.

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Guthrie and open the doors for our entire community,” said Chamber President Bob Haight.

According to The Chamber, the Showcase brings together dozens of local businesses and organizations for a day of networking, discovery, and family-friendly fun. Visitors can explore booths featuring a wide range of industries including finance, senior living, nonprofits, manufacturing, service providers, health care, local retail, insurance, travel, and more.

“Guthrie’s sponsorship creates a great opportunity for community members to connect with our local businesses while enjoying a little entertainment along the way,” said Debbie Thayer, Director of Events.

Spaces for this year’s Showcase are still available, but are limited. Those who plan to attend are also encouraged to support Leadership Cortland’s “Haulin’ for Hunger” Food Drive by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate. The goal is to fill an entire trailer with food to help local families in need.
