
2nd resident dies from COVID-19 cluster in Racker home
Local News January 9, 2021A second resident at Racker died Tuesday from a COVID-19 cluster initially reported on December 7.
Officials reported the first death on December 30 and began monitoring two others in the same home who fell critically ill afterwards.
One person remains hospitalized.
These are the first resident cases of COVID in Racker homes.
“We are saddened by the second loss to the Racker community, and send our condolences to the family and friends of such a lovely woman.” said Executive Director Dan Brown. “As we grieve, Racker continues our commitment to the health and safety of all of our programs. All of us ask the community to be vigilant in following the guidance of our health officials.”
