2nd benefit planned for local first responder with ALS

Local News

Another benefit is planned for this Saturday (October 3) to support a local first responder who’s currently battling with ALS, otherwise known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.”

David Tobias is a sergeant with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and member of both Cortlandville and Cincinnatus Fire Departments.

The Sheriff’s Office held a Chicken BBQ earlier this month at the Cortlandville fire station on Route 13.

This Saturday’s event features live music from 1-6 pm at the Cincinnatus Fairgrounds.

100% of all money raised will go directly to Sgt. Tobias and his family.
