29th Annual Great Cortland Pumpkinfest This Weekend
It’s almost time for the 29th annual Great Cortland Pumpkinfest at Courthouse Park in downtown Cortland. Pumpkinfest runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The festival will feature dozens of local craft and artisan vendors, food and drinks, live music, a kids’ zone, a petting zoo, a midway and more. Returning this year are food-court-style food trucks near the famous Pumpkin Put and mobile stage. Hayrides will also be available.
A map of the festival grounds can be found online at CortlandPumpkinFest.org.
Live music will kick off at noon Saturday with Cherry Holler, with performances continuing through 7 p.m. On Sunday, the weekend’s live music will close out with Trick Shot. A full music lineup can also be found on the Pumpkinfest website.
Guthrie will also host a Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Organizers are encouraging kids to show off their “spooktacular style, terrifying threads or grandiose guises.” Prizes will be awarded, and all ages are welcome to participate.
