The Cortland County Soil & Water Conservation District has announced that the 26th annual Cortland County river cleanup will take place this Saturday, September 24th.
The cleanup will take place along the many streams, lakes, and ponds throughout Cortland County. Those who participate will form teams and claim a portion of a stream, pond, or lake to which they will remove accumulated trash and debris.
The trash cleanup will run from 10am to 12pm. Those who volunteer will be given supplies and materials to the teams in advance.
