2022 Cortland Chamber Annual Awards Announced

Last night, the Cortland Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards dinner at the Greek Peak Lookout in Virgil, NY.



The categories for awards were Business of the Year (2 awards), Heritage Award, Young Professionals Award, Community Service Award, and Nonprofit of the Year.

The winners of each category are listed below:


Business of the Year: Signature Dance Studio, owner Meghan Libous.

Business of the Year: The Red Jug Pub, owners Tom Terwilliger and Aaron Gray.

Heritage Award: Benson Davis Insurance, owners Annette and Lee Benson with Matt Banazek.

Young Professionals Award: Anthony Contento, business Contentos.

Community Service Award: Clint Brooks, President of First National Bank of Dryden.

Nonprofit of the Year: Cincinnatus Central, Cortland Alternative School, Cortland Christian Academy, Cortland Enlarged City School, George Junior Republic, Groton Central, Homer Central, LaFayette Central, OCM BOCES, Seven Valleys New Tech Academy, St. Mary’s School
