A public hearing on the City of Cortland’s proposed budget for 2018 kicks off the Common Council meeting at 7 tonight (Tuesday).
Following the budget hearing, a second public hearing is planned on the topic of creating a Community Choice Aggregation Program for electricity purchases.
On the meeting’s regular agenda, Mike Dexter will preview the City Tree program for 2018.
Council members will be asked: Should Cortland go on record opposing limitations on the deduction of State and Local taxes?
Other resolutions relate to plans to reconstruct the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
