Two new Johnson & Johnson clinics have been announced for residents who still need to get their covid-19 vaccine.
Family Health Network is accepting walk-ins this Thursday from 4-6 pm at their Cortland office, located at 4038 West Road.
No appointment is needed; just bring your ID and insurance card.
Then next week, County Health Department and GCMC staff will offer another clinic on Wednesday (May 19) from 4-7 pm at the SUNY Cortland ice arena. Appointments must be made in advance using this link.
The J&J shot is currently only approved for individuals 18 and older.
It’s an ideal “one and done” option for anyone struggling to find time for a second appointment or who will be traveling in the weeks ahead — also, for college students who still need to get their shots prior to leaving for summer break.
