2 injured during DWI crash on Pendleton Street

Local News

A Cortland man was arrested for DWI after crashing his vehicle early Saturday morning on Pendleton Street, sending two of his passengers to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers with the county sheriff’s department were called to the scene near Ahrens Road just before 2 am, where they say 19-year-old Michael W. Davis lost control of his 2018 Subaru by mishandling a curve in the road while travelling north on Pendleton Street.

After leaving the roadway, Davis’ vehicle hit a culvert pipe and rolled onto its side.

Two passengers were brought to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center for treatment to non life-threatening injuries. Davis was uninjured.

He’s now scheduled to appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court for the incident on May 11.
