Cortland Memorial Foundation recently hosted its annual Harvest of Gold celebration on September 20, where a total of $19K was raised and donated to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.
The event was held at the SUNY Cortland Alumni House, where Guthrie Cortland President Jennifer Yartym honored NBT Bank as key supporters of the hospital and the Cortland Memorial Foundation.
Yartym also spoke about recent accomplishments at GCMC, like a $4.65 million state grant to renovate the Mental Health Unit, the arrival of telemedicine services in Cortland and recent approvals for eConsult services through the Mayo Clinic.
Additionally, she touched upon Guthrie’s plans to build a new multi-million dollar cancer center at GCMC, which were announced last month.
