Don Richards from the Cortland Breakfast Rotary club discussed the 18th Annual “Ride for Rotary,” planned for this Saturday (August 1) starting at 9 am outside the CNY Living History Center.
This year, the event paired with both the Homer Center for the Arts and the CNY Living History Center to bring awareness and help raise funds to support their programs.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no reception held afterwards.
All CDC guidelines and social distancing protocols must also be followed, with all members of the community encouraged to join the ride-long in their own vehicle or bike of choice.
There will also be separate, socially distanced run and walk events for others who want to participate on-foot.
Richards thanked the event’s many sponsors and invited others to join the effort.
