The Cortland Crush NYCBL Baseball team has a doubleheader scheduled for tonight against the Syracuse Junior Chiefs starting at 5pm at Greg's Field at Beaudry Park. The Crush lost at home to the Geneva Red Wings 4-1 last night, with the lone Cortland run coming in on a bases-loaded walk to Joel Brophy, which scored Homer product Zephan Cash.

In Minor League Baseball, The Norfolk Tides built a 5-0 lead and held off the Syracuse Chiefs 5-4 last night in Norfolk. The teams will meet again tonight. Elsewhere, the Auburn Doubledays fell to Batavia 4-3, and will begin a three-game set at Mahoning Valley tonight. Also, The Binghamton Mets will host Richmond tonight, after enjoying a day off yesterday.

The Yankees will host the Blue Jays tonight at Yankee Stadium, after a day off yesterday, and the Mets play game two of their series at St. Louis tonight, after falling to the Cardinals 6-2 last night.

Dustin Brown and the Los Angeles Kings held their victory parade and rally yesterday, in celebration of their second Stanley Cup title in three years. An estimated 300,000 people lined the route to the Staples Center. At the rally, head coach Darryl Sutter said that he was happy that the cup " is home ".
