The Syracuse and Georgetown Men's Basketball teams will renew their long-time rivalry, now as non-conference opponents, beginning in 2015. The two schools announced a new 4 year series yesterday, which will begin at the Verizon Center the season-after-next.

The Cortland Crush were limited to just two hits in a 5-0 road loss to the Syracuse Salt Cats last night. The Crush are scheduled to play at home against the Syracuse Junior Chiefs tonight at 7pm, weather permitting.

In Minor League Baseball, The Syracuse Chiefs will enjoy a day off today after falling to Buffalo 8-4 yesterday in a " School Day Special " in Syracuse. Elsewhere, the Binghamton Mets swept a doubleheader from Akron by scores of 8-1 and 10-5. The teams will play a single game tonight. The Auburn Doubledays are set to open their season on Friday night at Falcon Park against the Batavia Muckdogs.

Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tonight in New York. The Rangers will try to stave off elimination at Madison Square Garden tonight when they take on Dustin Brown and the Los Angeles Kings, who hold a 3-0 lead in the series. The Kings had not held a lead in the series until they scored with less than one second left in the first period of game three Monday on Monday night.
