The SUNY Cortland Men's Lacrosse team takes on the Keuka College Storm in an NCAA First Round game this afternoon at 4pm at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex. Cortland, which earned the SUNYAC Championship with an 11-10 over Plattsburgh, has won 10 straight games and is 15-0 on the season. Keuka College, winners of the North East Athletic Conference, is 14-0, and one of three undefeated teams in the field.

The TC3 Softball team fell to Corning Community College 8-3 in the first round of the regional playoffs yesterday. Ruthanne Forehand (Groton) and Karrie Snyder (Newfield) went 2-4 each and Sara Ford (Ithaca) was 2-3. Whitney Point alum Kaitlyn Edsall had a first inning single for the Panthers,

The TC3 Baseball team fell twice to Corning Community College yesterday by scores of 3-2 and 7-2 in regular season play.

In High School Baseball yesterday, it was McGraw over Marathon 14-2.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday, Syracuse downed Durham 3-2 and New Hampshire beat Binghamton 6-4. Both of those series continue today.

Syracuse Basketball Forward Rakeem Christmas will receive his Bachelors Degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies at the upcoming commencement ceremonies ... a degree he earned in just three years.
