The SUNY Cortland Softball team took both ends of a doubleheader from Oswego yesterday by scores of 12-2 and 10-0.

Both games were short6ened to five innings with the eight-run rule in effect. The Red Dragons belted 6 Home Runs in the two games. Courtney Kadish hit two in the first game and Diane Cork hit one in each to lead Cortland. The Red Dragons finish their SUNYAC season at 14-4, and will be the second seed in the upcoming conference tournament which begins Thursday in Oneonta.

The SUNY Cortland Women's Golf team finished their Spring with a 6th place finish at the Williams Northeast Elite Invitational. Ithaca Native Rebecca Studin finished tied for 15th individually with a two-day total of 165. Carly Peters was Cortland's highest finisher, carding a 163 over the two-day event and finishing tied for 13th place.

The SUNY Cortland Outdoor Track and Field teams recorded a combined 21 ECAC Qualifying performances at the Cornell Big Red Invitational yesterday. The Men had 11 of those qualifiers, including former Football player Andre Green's 2nd place in the Long Jump (7.02 meters), and the Women had 10 qualifiers, including Taylor Hudson's 2nd place in the Long Jump (5.69 Meters) and 7th place in the 100 Meter Hurdles (15.36 seconds).

The Syracuse Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams both fell in their respective ACC Tournament championship games. The Men lost a heartbreaker to Notre Dame 15-14 while the Women fell to Maryland 13-7.

The TC3 Baseball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Niagara Community College yesterday by scores of 8-3 and 17-0.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday, the Syracuse Chiefs fell to Indianapolis 2-1. That series continues tonight. Meanwhile the Binghamton Mets beat Erie on the road 9-6 and are at Akron tonight.
