The SUNY Cortland Softball team swept a doubleheader with Nazareth yesterday in Rochester. The Red Dragons edged the Golden Flyers 6-5 in Game 1 then won 9-0 in 5 innings in game two. Cortland, at 23-13 overall, is scheduled to wrap up their SUNYAC schedule tomorrow at Oswego.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball team's weekend series with Fredonia has been altered in anticipation of inclement weather. The Red Dragons and Blue Devils will play a doubleheader today starting at 1:15 PM and a single game tomorrow, which is scheduled to start at noon.

The TC3 Softball team split a doubleheader with Jefferson Community College yesterday,, winning games 1 12-3 and losing Game 2 by a 10-7 score. In Game 1, Ruthanne Forehand went 2-4 with a double and three RBI's and Taylor Policay went 2-2 with a Home Run and 2 RBI's. In Game 2, Kailyn Adams went 2-3 with an RBI and Forehand and Karrie Snyder each went 2-4.

The TC3 Baseball team split a twin bill with Jamestown Community College, taking the first 4-1 and dropping the second 12-5.

In High School Boys Lacrosse, it was Homer over Cortland 12-6.

In High School Baseball, Dryden Edged Union Springs 2-1.

In Minor League Baseball, Syracuse beat Louisville 5-1, and will try for a sweep of the four-game series tonight. Meanwhile, the Binghamton Mets edged Portland 5-4 and head to Erie tonight.

In the AHL, the Calder Cup playoffs begin for the Binghamton Senators tonight, when they host Wilkes Barre/Scranton at Broome County Arena.
