Capping a three-game in four-day stretch, The # 2 SUNY Cortland Women's Lacrosse team built a 9-2 lead and beat top-ranked Salisbury 12-8 yesterday in Cortland. The win was Cortland's 50th straight at home and it snapped a 39 game winning streak by the Seagulls. Erica Geremia led the Red Dragons with four goals and two assists and both Taylor Reh and Kristin Ohberg scored three goals. Cortland is 15-0 on the season.

The SUNY Cortland Women's Golf team finished in 8th place at the Amherst College/Jack Lehman Championship this past weekend. Ithaca native Rebecca Studin carded a two-day total of 161 and finished tied for 10th individually for the Red Dragons.

On today's schedule, the SUNY Cortland Softball team hosts Potsdam in a makeup doubleheader starting at 2pm.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday, the Rochester Red Wings beat the Syracuse Chiefs 9-3. The two teams will meet again today at Noon. Elsewhere, Binghamton beat New Hampshire 3-2 yesterday. The B-Mets host Portland this evening.

The American Hockey League Playoffs begin this week, and the Binghamton Senators are in, and will host Wilkes Barre/Scranton in the first two games of their series on Friday and Saturday.
