Syracuse Forward Jerami Grant has decided to forego his final two years of eligibility and enter this year's NBA draft. Grant averaged 12.1 points and a team-best 6.8 rebounds per game for the Orange this past season.

Syracuse has another commitment from a top prospect in the high school class of 2015. Guard Frank Howard from Fairfax Virginia has pledged to come to Syracuse, and joins Guard Malachi Richardson and Forward Tyler Lydon as early commits to the 'Cuse.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball team split a doubleheader with Oswego yesterday at Wallace Field. The Lakers took the scheduled 7 inning opener 5-3 in 9 innings and the Red Dragons took the second game 4-0. Brandon Serio tossed a complete game, 6 hit, shutout in game 2.

In addition to pushing the Baseball twinbill from today to yesterday, the weather has already postponed today's scheduled Softball doubleheader with St. John Fisher. No makeup date has been set yet. Still on today is the Men's Lacrosse team's trip to Nazareth for a non-league contest this afternoon.

In High School Baseball yesterday, Marathon outlasted Moravia 15-12.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday, Portland defeated Binghamton 9-4. That series continues tonight. The Syracuse Chiefs game with Lehigh Valley was postponed by weather last night. Weather permitting, the teams will play a doubleheader tonight.
