The SUNY Cortland Baseball team rallied for three runs in the bottom of the 9th, capped by an RBI single from PJ Rinaldi, and beat Plattsburgh 5-4 yesterday in a game played at Siena College. The Red Dragons are right back in action today as they host Oswego for a doubleheader beginning at 1pm. The games were supposed to be played tomorrow but were moved up in anticipation of inclement weather.

The SUNY Cortland Women's Golf team finished tied for third at the Vassar invitational this week, The Red Dragons Rebecca Studin (Ithaca) won the individual title in a playoff against Sharon Li from Ithaca College.

The TC3 softball team had a memorable day yesterday, setting some program records, in a doubleheader sweep of Mohawk Valley Community College by scores of 16-15 and 18-10. Ithaca High grad Sara Ford cracked a Home Run in Game 1 and finished 4-5 in Game 2 to lead the Panthers. Also in Game 2, Angela Everhart (Ithaca) also went 4-5. Taylor Policay (Lansing) had 4 hits and Macey Moore (Fabius/Pompey), Karrie Snyder (Newfield), Kailyn Adams (Ithaca) and Kaitlyn Edsall (Whitney Point) all added two hits apiece for TC3.

Meanwhile, the TC3 Baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Erie Community College by scores of 11-6 and 13-2.

Carmelo Anthony helped the Knicks keep their very slim playoff hopes alive by scoring 17 points in a 100-89 win over the Chicago Bulls yesterday. Tim Hardaway Jr. Led the winners with 20 points.
