The SUNY Cortland Baseball team gave up 5 runs in the first inning, and committed a pair of errors, as Oswego State handed the Red Dragons their first SUNYAC loss yesterday by a score of 9-5. Cortland is 8-1 in the league and 19-5 overall.

The SUNY Cortland Softball team dropped both ends of a non-league doubleheader to the University of Rochester by scores of 3-1 and 2-0 in 8 innings. The Red Dragons are 13-11 on the season.

The SUNY Cortland Men's Lacrosse team's game at Oswego was called off due to poor field conditions at Oswego. The Red Dragons and Lakers will make up the contest today in Cortland at the Stadium Complex starting at 4pm.

The TC3 Men's Lacrosse team lost a heartbreaker to Mohawk Valley Community College by a score of 9-8. Orazio Ciaschi (Ithaca) led the Panthers with 4 goals and an assist and Austin Recor (Homer) scored a goal. TC3 is at Jefferson Community College on Saturday, needing a win to stay in the playoff chase.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday, the Syracuse Chiefs shut out Pawtucket 7-0 yesterday, and head to Scranton/Wilkes Barre to being a series tonight. Meanwhile, The Binghamton Mets beat Erie 7-2 last night, and begin a series at New Hampshire tonight.
