The # 7 Syracuse Men's Lacrosse team virtually guaranteed themselves a place in postseason play by upstaging # 6 Cornell last night 14-9 at Cornell's Schoelkopf Field, Randy Staats scored 5 goals and added 4 assists for the Orange, who raise their record to 7-3 on the season. Cornell falls to 9-2.

The # 2 SUNY Cortland Women's Lacrosse team got a career-high 5 goals from Emma Hayes-Hurley en route to a 14-8 victory over # 18 The College At Brockport yesterday afternoon. Erica Geremia tallied a goal and six assists and Taylor Reh and Tara Monaghan registered 3 goals apiece. Liz Ingalls, the reigning SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse Goaltender Of the Week, made 8 saves. The Red Dragons are 10-0 and 4-0 in the conference.

The SUNY Cortland Women's Tennis team opened their Spring Season with a 9-0 loss at William Smith.

Today, The SUNY Cortland Baseball team hosts Oswego at 2pm, the Softball team hosts the University of Rochester for a doubleheader at 2pm and the Men's Lacrosse team is at Oswego.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday, Pawtucket downed Syracuse 7-1 and Binghamton beat Erie 7-2. Those series continue today.
