The U-Conn Huskies beat Kentucky 60-54 last night to win the NCAA Division 1 Men;s Basketball Championship, just one year after being banned from the tournament due to academic issues team-wide. Tonight, the U-Conn Women's Basketball team tries for a title of it's own as they battle Notre Dame in a battle of two undefeated teams.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball team will play Oswego in a single game today. That game has been moved from Oswego to Cortland due to field conditions at Oswego. Cortland has canceled their game at home tomorrow with the University of Rochester because Rochester has to make up a doubleheader with league foe RIT. Also, The Red Dragons Sunday home game with Misericordia has been postponed so that Cortland can make up a league game with Plattsburgh at Siena College. No makeup date for the Misericordia game has been set.

Also at SUNY Cortland, the Softball Doubleheader with Rochester tomorrow will start at 2pm, instead of the original start time of 3pm.

In Minor League Baseball, Pawtucket beat Syracuse 3-2 in 10 innings and Erie and Binghamton were rained out. Both series will try again today.

Derek Jeter doubled and scored in his final home opener at Yankee Stadium yesterday. The Yankees beat the Orioles 4-2.
